The Sheffield Coordinates Collection

Now, the current situation has had quite the effect on many — for me it has meant not being able to do client work or go out and film my in-depth Sheffield Guide videos, which has also meant not much money coming in.

BUT, it did prompt me to spend the time building the new Sheffield Guide website, creating some artworks and sourcing some brilliant new items with which to try and sell in order to keep things going…

Stunning typography

The Sheffield Coordinates Collection is the first of many new designs I’ve been working on. I love Typography and think this work captures the essence of The Sheffield Guide quite well in a stylish design format that Sheffielders can appreciate and use to show off their love of, and pride in, the city.

The main text gives a brief description of the city, whilst the right side features coordinates to the city centre. Bonus points to anyone who can pin-point the exact spot and take a photograph with one of the items there!

T-Shirts and Hoodies come in several different colour variations to suit anyone — simply use the selector on the online shop to preview the options (if there is a product or colour option you’d like to see, send me a message and I’ll see what I can do for future collections).

The collection is already starting to receive positive reviews:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Brilliant quality T-Shirt. The print is great and colour is lovely. Great to wear to show off my Sheffield roots and is a great conversation starter!”Paul, Sheffield Coordinates T-Shirt Buyer

Exceptional ethical and sustainable standards

It has taken me some time to source the right products and partners to put these stunning designs onto. It is important to me that the items are as local, ethically sourced and sustainable as possible — to that end, I have chosen a Clothing manufacturer that is PETA Certified and uses organic materials where possible, whilst maintaining a high quality on the garments.

The same high-standards extend to our print and fulfilment partners, who use non-toxic inks that do not use animal products, and haven’t been tested on animals. Our main Art Prints come on museum-quality natural, sustainable and environmentally friendly paper made from 90% bamboo fibres and 10% cotton.

Made-to-order

Additionally, all items are made-to-order and shipped in bespoke 100% plastic-free packaging (with the exception of framed prints, which require bubble-wrap to protect the glass). I’ve tried to keep shipping costs as low as possible too, there are several shipping options available based on the weight of the items ordered and destination (yes, we can ship worldwide!). Simply enter your shipping address and select your preferred shipping method at checkout.

These high standards mean that some items might appear a little more expensive than some other mass-produced products at first glance — but I assure you the ethical trade-off and product quality is well worth it!

Production and shipping note

One final note to acknowledge that our print and fulfilment partners haven’t been immune to the COVID-19 situation either. In normal circumstances items are produced in 3-5 days, quality checked and then shipped using your chosen method. However, they are reporting that production of some made-to-order items may be delayed by up to two weeks at the current time. Of course it isn’t ideal, but is unavoidable and I’d absolutely prefer that their staff keep safe in the current circumstances than rush any orders out. Apologies in advance for any delays you may experience with your order.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
