Best known as the guitarist/bassist and co-songwriter in Reverend & The Makers, Sheffield lynchpin Ed Cosens has spent 15 years conquering the charts, touring the world (and even dabbling in beer brewing), whilst leaving the limelight to others. With the release of his debut solo album Fortunes Favour he’s finally ready to take centre stage.
Born and raised in Sheffield, the Steel City is runs through Neil's veins. After working in the music industry for the 10 years, Neil has now moved into a more media based role, making short films and videos as well as documentaries (many based around the music industry he loves, as well as travel and music videos and films about the City Of Sheffield). You can regularly find him on his forums Sheffield History.
Russ Thomas was born in Essex, raised in Berkshire, and came to Sheffield in 1995. He’s had a wide variety of ‘proper jobs’ over the years, including fifteen years of bookselling at Waterstones. After studying for an MA in Writing at Sheffield Hallam University, he now writes full time and teaches creative writing. Firewatching is the first in a brand new police procedural series following the exploits of DS Adam Tyler and his Cold Case Review Unit. The second in the series, Nighthawking will be published February 2021. You can find more information at www.russthomasauthor.com. ‘Firewatching’ by Russ Thomas (Simon & Schuster UK) is out now in paperback.
