About Locksley Distilling
Located in historical grade II* listed Portland Works near Sheffield City Centre, Locksley Distilling was founded by John Cherry. From humble beginnings in his parent’s attic to one of the city’s most-loved beverage producers and employers. Sir Robin of Locksley Distilled Artisan Gin is their signature drink which sits alongside an impressive range of specialist artisan gins, liqueurs and more!
About Sir Robin of Locksley Distilled Artisan Gin
Sir Robin of Locksley® Distilled Artisan Gin has incredible versatility – one of the very few (if not only) true English sipping gins, try it neat or chilled. It makes a mean G&T, and a wonderful martini (dry or dirty), as well as numerous other cocktails.
Up-front juniper with more delicate aromas of elderflower bubbling through. Deliciously smooth and round on the palate – warm cassia notes soothed with dandelion. Pink grapefruit adds an underlying sweetness and lingering citrus finish. Balanced yet distinctively unique.
About the ‘R’ Negroni Cocktail
This Negroni features a presentation that will truly impress your friends. We like this all year round, but its spicy warmth will reach your toes in late Autumn and throughout the Winter. See the full cocktail recipe here.

Sustainable Plastic-Free Packaging
Orders are shipped in 100% plastic-free packaging (with the exception of Framed Prints, which utilises biodegradable bubble wrap).
The packaging used for an order varies depending on the products being shipped, but the information below will give an idea of the packaging you can expect an order to ship in.
Paper mailing bags
Most orders up to a certain size will ship in either a small, medium or large paper mailers.
Clothing items such as t-shirts and hoodies are folded neatly into these bags; to save on packing materials and reduce waste we do not pack items into individual bags before they are shipped in these mailers.
Our paper postal mailing bags are manufactured from responsible, sustainable sources to comply with FSC certification. The paper is both compostable and degradable, and paper mailers can be easily recycled, making this an extremely eco-friendly option. The weather-proof parcel protects its contents during transit.
Cardboard boxes are used for orders too bulky for our large paper mailers. They work in just the same way though; clothing items are folded neatly into them, and any products requiring special packaging (such as mugs) which are shipping with clothing items are packed in their own packaging first before shipping in a box.
They’re a triangular tube of weather-proof reinforced cardboard. This shape allows for easier transportation and label application so it’s very practical!
All posters ship in these tubes but for the A4 bamboo prints, which ship in reinforced envelopes.
